For over 45 years, one single obsession: to get everywhere
In 1980, in Sentheim, at the foot of the Vosges, Henry Dangel founded a company based on an idea that many deemed unfeasible: to give four-wheel drive to a production vehicle without compromising its everyday value. More than forty-five years later, this mindset is still part of the company: to seek the technical solution where others see a limitation, and then validate it in the field.

A passion shared by the whole team
At Dangel, vehicles are not transformed on an assembly line. Engineers, technicians, assemblers, after-sales team: each person knows the business of our clients and what they expect from a vehicle that needs to start and operate every day, in all seasons. This passion has been passed down among employees for over forty-five years. It is reflected in the care given to each transformation.

A family-owned, independent business
Dangel has remained a family-owned business. We make long-term decisions, closely connected to our clients and our teams. Our clients know this: they have stable contacts who follow their vehicles over time.

Our own technology
We do not simply assemble components. Our design office develops our transmission and drive systems, then tests, validates, and certifies them. Our solutions are integrated into the vehicles of our manufacturing partners while respecting their original design. The vehicle retains its warranty and maintenance network.

Transformed in France
Each Dangel vehicle is transformed in our factory in Alsace. We control the entire process, from design to delivery, with a level of quality and traceability that our public and professional clients have known for decades.
